I’ve been a carer for over 30 years,working in care homes and in The Community.
For the last 7 years I was my Husbands full time carer until sadly he passed away.
I prefer one on one with clients rather than in a care home , you can really create a bond.
I have an NVQ 3 in Nursing care, but I would prefer to help out more in the home with cleaning shopping and ironing.
I don’t mind staying overnight
